Izzy Bella
One look at Izzy and you’d think she means business.
She has this beautiful, squared-off Bulldog brow that gives her the most serious expression—but that face doesn’t match the girl underneath it at all.
Our Izzy Bella is sweet, affectionate, and completely devoted to her people. More specifically, she’s my shadow. Wherever I go, Izzy isn’t far behind. From room to room and throughout whatever I’m doing that day, she wants to be right there with me.
That tough Bulldog expression may fool you for a minute, but once you know Izzy, you know she’s really just a big sweetheart.

Izzy represents so much of what we’re working toward in our English Bulldogs.
At 52 pounds, she has a beautiful athletic build with strong, functional legs, a broad chest, and that gorgeous, substantial Bulldog head and brow. She has the unmistakable English Bulldog look without being excessively wrinkled or exaggerated.
But what we love most isn’t simply how she looks—it’s what that structure allows her to do.
Izzy can move.
She has excellent airway clearance, breathes beautifully, and has shown wonderful tolerance for normal exercise and Florida’s warmer climate. She’s an active, capable Bulldog who can enjoy being a dog rather than being limited by her structure.
That’s incredibly important to us.
There’s another fun connection in Izzy’s pedigree.
Izzy is a daughter of Henry the English Bulldog, making her a half-sister to our boy Zeus.
Or, as we like to call it around here, sister from another mister.
Having both Izzy and Zeus in our pack gives us two very different Bulldogs connected through the same sire, while allowing us to see the different qualities that have come through their respective lines.
Although Izzy and Ozzie came from the same home and arrived here together, they are not genetically related.
Izzy came into our lives alongside Ozzie and Rosie.
After their breeder passed away, her husband was faced with the difficult decision of finding the right home for dogs that had meant so much to his wife. A fellow breeder recommended our program, and after getting to know us and understanding how our dogs live, he entrusted all three of them to Bullgodz.
Although Izzy and Ozzie came from the same home and arrived here together, they are not genetically related.
What mattered most to their previous owner was knowing that these dogs weren’t coming here simply to become breeding animals.
At Bullgodz, our breeding dogs are family first.
Izzy lives in our home, follows me everywhere, gets all the love and attention she demands, and has become every bit as much a part of our family as the dogs we’ve raised ourselves.
We’re incredibly grateful that she found her way to us.

Izzy may have one of the most serious faces in the Bullgodz pack, but around here we know better.
She’s athletic and powerful while still being feminine. She’s beautifully built without excessive features. She’s capable, affectionate, loyal, and completely attached to her people.
And no matter where the day takes me, there’s one thing I can pretty much guarantee:
Izzy Bella will be right behind me.
